No! All the fresh produce we provide is completely free for families and staff at select elementary schools in Philadelphia. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to healthy food options without any financial burden.

How do I sign up for the produce distribution?

To sign up for our program, simply click on the REGISTER button on the home page. You only need to register once to receive alerts for upcoming produce giveaways.

What types of produce can I expect to receive?

We offer a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, tomatoes, and bananas. Our offering will vary, focusing on what is fresh and in season.

How often does The Produce Pantry distribute produce?

The distribution schedule varies by school. Typically we distribute at each school once a month. Check with your school to find out the specific schedule for your community.

Is the produce suitable for everyone?

If you or a family member has food allergies, please be cautious and select your options accordingly. The Produce Pantry assumes no liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed.

Is there a guarantee that I will receive produce if I come to the distribution?

In order to receive produce at a giveaway, you need to register one time, to be added to our database. After that you will receive an alert via email or text with the next giveaway date. Simply tell us you're coming, and we will order enough produce for all registrants. Please note registration closes 5 days before the giveaway so that we may order accordingly. Produce is only available to families who have signed up in advance. We appreciate your cooperation which allows us to serve the community in a fruitful and organized manner!
