No! All the fresh produce we provide is completely free for families and staff at select elementary schools in Philadelphia. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to healthy food options without any financial burden.
How do I sign up for the produce giveaway?
Simply click on the REGISTER button on the home page. You only need to register once to receive alerts for upcoming giveaways.
What types of produce can I expect to receive?
We offer a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, tomatoes, and bananas. Our offering will vary, focusing on what is fresh and in season.
Is the produce suitable for everyone?
Yes! We offer a varied selection of healthy, nutritious produce to support different dietary needs. If you or a family member has food allergies, please choose items carefully. The Produce Pantry is not responsible for any adverse reactions to foods consumed.
Am I guaranteed to receive produce if I attend the distribution?
To receive produce at a giveaway, please register once so we can add you to our database. You’ll then get an email or text with the next giveaway date. Let us know you plan to attend, and we’ll order enough produce for everyone registered. Registration closes five days before each giveaway, and produce is available only to families who sign up in advance. Arrive early for the best selection.
